Maxine, a Buddhist nun from the Kadampa tradition in Ulverston, Lake District was diagnosed with a tumour measuring 20cm and given six months to live. Preferring quality over quantity, she refused surgery, chemotherapy and medication and took matters into her own hands. After surviving for almost 4 years after her diagnosis and shrinking her tumour down to 13cm, she wants to set off on a journey to mystical lands to learn the art of dying- Samadhi - an ancient yogic practice attaining enough mastery over life energies to be able to consciously and intentionally leave one's physical body. Will she succeed?
